She wanted to grow her gray out without doing anything to it at all, but it got to a point where she felt she needed to do something.

She didn’t want to do a lot or incur a lot of damage to her very fine hair, so hilights and toner were applied to the top section and around her face to blend everything together. Her roots that she had been so patiently growing were left out of the process so she could keep on with the process.
